Completed in 2006, 3111 Varsity is an attractive option for professionals working at the University of Calgary. The Engineering building and East campus is just a stone’s throw away. The Maison Neuve, or “New Home” is located at 303 19th AVE SW. The building is 4 stories and was completed in 2003. With only 32 units, then complex is considered fairly exclusive and listings are often scooped up quickly.

At time of writing sale prices ranged from just over $300,000 to a little over $700,000. It has one of the most impressive exercise facilities I’ve seen in a condo building. CityFit offers private sessions, group training, and therapy sessions. SoBow Residents may use the facility but non-residents only have access with a trainer.

One of our favourite new buildings in Eau Claire, The Waterfront is an exciting project located along the shores of the Bow River at 222 Riverfront AVE SW.Tower 1 currently stands 26 storeys and Tower 2 stands 23. Although construction had not started at time of writing, the third tower is expected to be even taller. There is no shortage of amenities. Among them; a movie theatre, concierge, billiards, fitness facility with steam rooms and yoga studio, and over 6000 square feet of amenity space.

315 24th AVE SW is home to the Xolo building in Mission, just off 4th Street (The People’s Street). In total, there are 105 living units. Construction is wood frame. Mission has quickly become on of Calgary’s trendiest neighbourhoods. It offers excellent dining, beautiful walking paths along the Elbow River, great shopping, pubs, and many of the city’s best cafes (in our opinion, of course).
